MEL MEL MEL

'nother short post!

While we're on the subject of MEL, here's another really nice place of reference. There are quite a bit of how-tos, and also - not just on MEL, but API as well. Good stuff. His match expressions alone are worth visiting this site for!

Also want to give a shout out and a link back to a fellow rigging blogger! Maulik is waaay more technical than I am, so I'm hoping to learn some good tips.

  1. For those of you that are interested in writing code (in MEL or anything else) that isn't merely functional, but also maintainable, you might find this useful:

    Amusingly, there are several items in there that MEL makes it difficult *not* to do (especially with regards to scoping), which is a testament to what a horribly designed language it is...
