I'd say about half the riggers I know consider themselves modelers as well, and all of us TDs know the importance of having good edge loops so that things deform the way they're supposed to. I'm not much of a modeler - I can fix a model for rigging, and that's about it. But damn, this guy is good.
He goes over everything, from edge loop theory to articulation all over the body, and not only are his deformations friggin' lovely, he also has the skeleton rigged and moving in his examples.
Tell me that isn't sexy. This is such a great resource for articulation theory, for both modelers and riggers. So thank you, Hippydrome, you get hero points.
serialization fun!

I’ve been tinkering around with this little project for awhile now. I’ve
always wanted to try to write a simple little serialization format. I know
there...

Surely he deserves hero points. Love his deformation reference.
