Heat Weighting and Contract Work

Hey all, my contract ended today with Multiverse, sooo does anyone happen to know of any contract positions located in the San Francisco Bay Area? I'll do skinning, rigging, etc., I just need to be able to work from home. Starving rigging student here :]

Also, have a nifty essay (read the PDF!) on Blender's heat weighting algorithm. I wish Maya had heat weighting. Then again, I wish Maya had good weighting. Oh well.

    i mean it's by no mean perfect or great but it might be better for skinning if the geo is setup for it

  2. I'm actually not sure if I've tried this one, but I only remember trying MEL, not Python scripts. I'll give it a try! Thanks!
